At Long Hill Chapel, our aim is to reach and care for each child, to teach and lay a spiritual foundation that will, in God’s timing, lead them to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

This relationship is encouraged to grow as we the church come along side their parents/guardians through discipleship.

We believe the parents are the primary source for discipleship, therefore we feel it is vital to equip and partner with them in this journey. Together we can show the love of Christ in our schools and communities.

LHCkids age 3 through 5th grade are invited to attend an optional outdoor class while we continue with outdoor services. Kids will be dismissed after announcements for a quick and socially distant activity and lesson. To learn more, read the LHCkids Outdoor Guidelines. Currently, there are no children's classes at our indoor service however, our typical indoor program includes the following options:

  • Nursery (0-24 months) - Childcare is available for infants and toddlers during the 10am Sunday morning worship service in our Nursery, Room 113. *Nursing Moms are welcome to come into our nursery at any time during the services as needed.

  • Pre-K Class (age 2-5) - Classes for preschool age kids are offered during the 10am Sunday morning worship service. These classes include free-play, circle-time with songs, a Bible story, activity and snack. Kids are welcome to start in service for worship with their family then may leave for classrooms when "Kids Dismissed" slide is shown on the screen before Offering is collected. They may leave for classrooms before Offering is collected. Or, kids may also go straight to class upon arrival at church if you desire that instead.

  • K-2nd and 3rd-5th Classes - Kids meet in the Sanctuary at 10am and sit together up front or with their family. Kids will leave for class when the "Kids Dismissed" slide is shown on the screen before Offering is collected. In the classrooms, the kids move into a small group setting with other children their age for the Bible lesson, a small group activity, snack and prayer time.

Our Sunday School Classes are all using Tru Curriculum so that each class is learning the same lesson but on their own grade levels! Click here to learn more.

All classes are cleaned on a regular basis and staffed with at least two volunteers each Sunday.

*Safety is very important to us at Long Hill Chapel. In order to work with children in any capacity all volunteers will have a background check done through Protect My Ministry
